Brand Description

The idea is born.

Edward J. McGunn, a third generation safe builder and creator of SnapSafe designed safes and security products for government, commercial and home applications. As a gun collector, Ed knew that for his long gun and pistol storage he needed a secure fireproof gun safe. But unfortunately, there was the huge cost and effort it took to move a fireproof safe to the second story of his home. It wasn’t only expensive – it was dangerous. What’s more, after all that work, it rarely ended up in the most convenient location.

Ed knew there had to be a better way to move hundreds of pounds of steel from one place to another. That’s when the SnapSafe modular safe was born. This modular component safe comes in pieces that are light enough to carry anywhere and they quickly lock together exactly where needed. It offers the security of a traditional welded safe but without all the hassle and cost.

Now, buying an in-home safe is as easy as buying any home or office appliance. At last, homeowners can put their home security safes exactly where they want them – close by – where they will get used. Because a safe is no good if it doesn’t get used.

Its simple yet secure modular assembly system locks the safes’ 9-gauge steel exterior walls together in less than 30 minutes using only a wrench, which is included with every shipment. This simple assembly makes the safes ideal for any room or space, and keeps valuables, firearms and other possessions secure.

Item Availability Status

When shopping for SNAP SAFE products with us, you will notice different availability statuses for our items. Each status indicates the current availability and ordering options for that goods. Here is what each level represents:

Available

product marked as "Available" mean that these SNAP SAFE items are in stock in the local warehouse (Australia) and are ready for immediate shipment. Once an order is placed, it will be shipped the same day or the next working day.

Available Allow 21 Days

Items marked as "Available (Allow 21 Days)" mean that these SNAP SAFE items are currently in stock at the Brownells Grinnell IOWA warehouse (USA) and are shipped from there to our local warehouse in Australia. Once they arrive, the goods will be shipped to your shipping address immediately. This entire process will take approximately 21 days.

Backorder Only

SNAP SAFE products marked as "Backorder Only" mean that these products are currently not available in the Brownells Grinnell IOWA warehouse (USA) and the local warehouse in Australia. luckily it is available on backorder, which means it will be available at the Brownells Grinnell IOWA warehouse (USA) soon. but we are unable to provide the exact availability date of the goods.

In this case, we offer two options.

1. Place an Order

if you want, you can place an order. Once the product becomes available in the Brownells Grinnell IOWA warehouse (USA), orders will be shipped from there to our local warehouse in Australia. Once they arrive, the goods will be shipped to your shipping address immediately.

2. Use Notify Me Option

Wherever you see an item status as "Backorder Only", you will see a "Notify Me" button next to that status. You can sign up to receive notifications by email through the Notify Me form. Once the product becomes available, we will inform you so that you can easily place an order.

Out of Stock, No Backorder

Items marked as "Out of Stock, No Backorder" mean that these SNAP SAFE products are currently unavailable for purchase. This indicates that these products are not available in the Brownells Grinnell IOWA warehouse (USA) and our local warehouse in Australia.

In this case, you can use a "Notify Me" option.
