Based in Metro Detroit, Night Fision brings a rich background of automotive engineering, manufacturing and expertise in tritium illumination to the firearm industry. Our sister company, Cammenga, is the official manufacturer of the U.S. Army’s Tritium Lensatic Compass. As a result, we leverage over 30 years of tritium insertion expertise, so it’s safe to say a lot of experience went into designing the brightest night sights in the world.

Simply put, we know tritium, we know manufacturing, and we’re all about efficiency – all of which has led us to develop a better way to produce tritium night sights on U.S. soil. Our military-grade polymer ring design allows us to consistently deliver a wider variety of superior quality night sights with enhanced tritium brightness, all at a lower price than leading competitors. The Founding of Night Fision – A Family Affair

Cousins Alex and CJ Karchon grew up in Metro Detroit in the late 80’s. With a family business in the automotive industry, the two were surrounded by manufacturing. From an early age, they started working on the manufacturing floor, doing everything from counting inventory to loading stamping presses.

When it was time to go to college, the two stayed in the Midwest and studied business at the Indiana University’s Kelley School. Upon graduation, Alex and CJ rejoined the family automotive business, this time working in the front office. The two young and ambitious cousins were mentored by their uncle/father. The succession plan was in place.

After learning the ins and outs of the automotive business, the cousins were determined to diversify the business into new end markets. They discovered a niche in designing and fabricating replacement parts for the U.S. military’s MRAP vehicles while in Afghanistan.

During this expansionary period, the enterprise started seeking acquisitions. While looking for similar add-on businesses, an unexpected opportunity arose to purchase the U.S. military’s tritium compass manufacturer, Cammenga. Although the company’s products and services varied drastically from their current endeavors, the Karchons’ knowledge of manufacturing made it a natural fit.

Over the years, a concentrated effort was placed on using Cammenga’s tritium knowledge to aid other companies in illuminating their products.

The Karchons quickly started performing tritium insertion for gun sight manufacturers around the country, placing an emphasis on quality and on-time delivery.

The tritium gun sight business isn’t a new industry. However, over the years it seemed that even though pistols kept evolving, the gun sight technology remained the same, stated Alex Karchon.

Eight years later, the two decided it was finally time for innovation. They took their automotive knowledge and applied it to the gun sight market.

We encourage our team to ignore industry norms and generate new suggestions for innovation, so around the factory, we use the mantra: There’s always a brighter way, said CJ Karchon.

Available Allow 21 Days

Items marked as "Available (Allow 21 Days)" mean that these NIGHT FISION items are currently in stock at the Brownells Grinnell IOWA warehouse (USA) and are shipped from there to our local warehouse in Australia. Once they arrive, the goods will be shipped to your shipping address immediately. This entire process will take approximately 21 days.

Backorder Only

NIGHT FISION products marked as "Backorder Only" mean that these products are currently not available in the Brownells Grinnell IOWA warehouse (USA) and the local warehouse in Australia. luckily it is available on backorder, which means it will be available at the Brownells Grinnell IOWA warehouse (USA) soon. but we are unable to provide the exact availability date of the goods.

In this case, we offer two options.

1. Place an Order

if you want, you can place an order. Once the product becomes available in the Brownells Grinnell IOWA warehouse (USA), orders will be shipped from there to our local warehouse in Australia. Once they arrive, the goods will be shipped to your shipping address immediately.
