OVER 40 YEARS AT THE FRONT

Accuracy International (AI) was founded by British international target shooters in Portsmouth, England in 1980.

In 1985 AI won the UK MoD's L96A1 rifle contract. The product of AI engineers working in close collaboration with UK special forces and government users, the L96 was a watershed in the design of tactical weapons.

Further contracts were to follow such as Sweden (PSG90) in 1991 and...the German Army (G22) in 1995 which saw the evolution of the iconic AW Series of weapons the UK MoD L115A3 ("The Long") in 2008.

Since those early days AI has supplied tactical rifles and associated equipment to over 70 countries, all under export licenses approved by the British government and become the leading supplier of sniper rifles in the world.

In recent years AI has revisited its roots in competition shooting and now offers rifles for PRS and other similar challenges in the USA, UK, Europe and other parts of the world.

Under the leadership of Directors Tom Irwin and Dave Walls, in 2015 AI won The Queen's Award for Enterprise for International Trade and represented the Company at Buckingham Palace to receive the award from Queen Elizabeth II.

Our Headquarters proudly remain in Portsmouth, England where AI products are designed, developed, tested and manufactured to the highest quality standards including BS EN ISO 9001:2015 registration applicable to: Design and manufacture of small arms and accessories. Procurement, repair and supply of small arms, accessories and ammunition. Provision of user and maintenance training.

AI has a USA facility, with supporting USA suppliers, where the assembly and test of production rifles takes place for the US market.

AI USA also plays an integral part in the development of new products with input from the unique demands of US commercial, government and LE users.

Item Availability Status

When shopping for ACCURACY INTERNATIONAL products with us, you will notice different availability statuses for our items. Each status indicates the current availability and ordering options for that goods. Here is what each level represents:

Available

Available Allow 21 Days

Items marked as "Available (Allow 21 Days)" mean that these ACCURACY INTERNATIONAL items are currently in stock at the Brownells Grinnell IOWA warehouse (USA) and are shipped from there to our local warehouse in Australia. Once they arrive, the goods will be shipped to your shipping address immediately. This entire process will take approximately 21 days.

Backorder Only

ACCURACY INTERNATIONAL products marked as "Backorder Only" mean that these products are currently not available in the Brownells Grinnell IOWA warehouse (USA) and the local warehouse in Australia. luckily it is available on backorder, which means it will be available at the Brownells Grinnell IOWA warehouse (USA) soon. but we are unable to provide the exact availability date of the goods.

In this case, we offer two options.

1. Place an Order

if you want, you can place an order. Once the product becomes available in the Brownells Grinnell IOWA warehouse (USA), orders will be shipped from there to our local warehouse in Australia. Once they arrive, the goods will be shipped to your shipping address immediately.

2. Use Notify Me Option

Wherever you see an item status as "Backorder Only", you will see a "Notify Me" button next to that status. You can sign up to receive notifications by email through the Notify Me form. Once the product becomes available, we will inform you so that you can easily place an order.

Out of Stock, No Backorder

Items marked as "Out of Stock, No Backorder" mean that these ACCURACY INTERNATIONAL products are currently unavailable for purchase. This indicates that these products are not available in the Brownells Grinnell IOWA warehouse (USA) and our local warehouse in Australia.
